Miquel is an amazing Caregiver! She helped care for our special needs child all week while we were visiting the area and treated her as if she was her own child! We were ready to bring Miquel back home with us to Georgia! We truly appreciated her and highly recommend her If you're needing help with your loved one's!

Safety and Well-Being on the Emerald Coast

At 30A Caregiving, the safety, comfort, and dignity of every individual we serve is our top priority—whether they’re at home or vacationing along the Emerald Coast. We ensure safety and well-being through professional training, personalized safety assessments, routine care and monitoring, familiarity and reassurance, and strict infection control & cleanliness.

Florida State Certified EMT with 18+ Years of Experience

I am a Florida State Certified EMT with over 18 years of experience in emergency response, patient monitoring, and direct care. Skilled in high-risk scenarios and trained to respond calmly and quickly to any health concern or emergency.

Personalized Safety Assessments

Upon arrival, I assess the home or vacation rental for potential hazards (loose rugs, stair risks, low lighting, etc.) and ensure the environment is adapted for safe movement, accessibility, and ease of care.

Routine Care and Monitoring

I monitor vital signs (when needed), hydration, medication schedules, mobility, and general well-being throughout every visit. Clients with memory-related conditions are never left unsupervised or exposed to unsafe situations.

Familiarity and Reassurance

I provide emotional support and routine, helping reduce anxiety and confusion for clients in new or unfamiliar vacation settings. I keep communication open with family members to report any changes or concerns.

Infection Control & Cleanliness

I follow strict hygiene practices and infection prevention protocols to protect vulnerable clients, especially in shared rental spaces or post-surgery scenarios.

Whether your loved one is recovering from surgery, living with dementia, or simply needs companionship while you enjoy your vacation, I offer professional, attentive care that brings peace of mind—wherever you are.

A Day in the Life with 30A Caregiving

At 30A Caregiving, I create a calm, supportive, and personalized experience that balances professional care with emotional comfort—tailored to each client’s needs and lifestyle. Whether your loved one is a local resident or here on vacation, the goal is always the same: to provide compassionate, dependable care that preserves dignity, promotes well-being, and brings peace of mind to families.

Morning Care

Peaceful Start & Personal Care: Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and any mobility needs—done with respect, privacy, and patience.
Medication Reminders & Breakfast Support: Ensuring medications are taken on time and breakfast is nourishing and tailored to dietary needs.
Light Movement or Outdoor Time: A short walk, stretching routine, or time on the porch to gently start the day and boost mood.

Midday Support

Activities & Companionship: For vacationing clients, this might include a safe outing or scenic drive along 30A. For local clients, familiar activities like puzzles, music, reading, or TV shows they enjoy.
Lunch Prep & Nutrition Monitoring: I prepare a simple, healthy lunch and encourage hydration and balanced intake throughout the day.
Rest Time: Quiet time is encouraged after lunch—whether that’s a nap, relaxing in their favorite chair, or simply enjoying a calm environment.

Afternoon & Evening

Afternoon Engagement: Conversation, art activities, a beach view, or memory games—adjusted to energy levels and interests.
Evening Care Routine: Support with changing clothes, toileting, and evening medication. I help create a calm, familiar environment to wind down and feel secure.
Family Communication: For both local and vacationing families, I provide regular updates and encourage open communication, so you’re always in the loop.

Whether I’m assisting a local family balancing work and caregiving, or helping vacationers make the most of their time while ensuring their loved one is supported, my role remains the same: To deliver safe, compassionate, and skilled care—every day, every client, every time.

What Sets 30A Caregiving Apart?

Personalized, Medical-Grade Care with a Local Heart — Designed for Both Residents & Vacationing Families

30A Caregiving isn’t a franchise or a rotating team of unfamiliar faces. It’s a locally owned and operated service built on trust, experience, and a deep commitment to both this community and the families who visit it.

Florida State Certified EMT with 18+ Years of Experience

Most caregivers don’t have emergency medical training—I do. With hands-on experience in the NICU, ER, and field response, I bring a level of skill and safety that offers peace of mind, especially when dealing with high-risk conditions, medication management, or sudden health concerns.

Vacation-Friendly, On-Call Care

Unlike traditional agencies, I specialize in short-term care for vacationing families who want to enjoy their trip while ensuring their loved one is well-supported. I’m familiar with the vacation rental landscape and know how to adapt care in unfamiliar or temporary environments.

Compassionate, One-on-One Continuity of Care

With 30A Caregiving, your loved one isn’t passed from one staff member to another. I provide consistent, one-on-one care that builds trust and familiarity—whether it’s a one-week stay or a long-term relationship.

Local, Trusted, and Community-Rooted

Based in Freeport, FL, I’ve cared for clients in Santa Rosa Beach, Seaside, Destin, and all along 30A. I know this area, the people, and how to navigate the unique needs of both full-time residents and visiting families.

Specialized Experience

I have deep experience with: Alzheimer’s & dementia care, Parkinson’s and chronic illness support, Cerebral palsy and developmental disabilities, Colostomy & suprapubic catheter care, Hoyer lift transfers and mobility support, Post-surgery and transitional care, Children and adults with physical and cognitive special needs

Whether you’re looking for dependable vacation coverage, respite care, or a trusted caregiver for a loved one who lives here year-round, 30A Caregiving delivers the kind of care you’d give yourself—if only you had the time, training, and tools.

Not just a caregiver—an extension of your family.
